My father was in Army before I was born and he retired with 30 years of service. Here's the quick rundown of our stations:
Born in Frankurt am Main, Germany
lived in a bunch of places
landed in Sacramento, CA
Göppingen, Germany
Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas
Back to Frankfurt, Germany for High School
Aside from a 6 month stay in Paris, I've been in Northern California since. I remember terrorism growing up but loved living in Germany, experienced culture shock upon returning to the US.

Fri, July 30, 2004 - 4:56 PMI know what you mean...I graduated from Nurnberg American High, and was 19 when I returned to the states...I had been going to the disco for 3 years and having a blast...the first time I walked into a sports bar in the US I was turned away, and I realized I had a long way to go before I could go the disco's again...My dad is a retired Sergean Major, and he retired out of Ft. Leavenworth, and bought a house near Kansas City...I just moved out here from the Bay Area... I've lived in California, Georgia, Hawaii, Washington State, and Germany...then I enlisted in the Navy, and spent my tour of duty in California...
